The IMR company owns IMR.

ASAIK, Hodgdon doesn't manufacture any powder or own any conpany that does. They but from powder manufacturers all over the world.

But when they put out a spec for bid, it's pretty specific. when you get a can of HS-6, it's the same powder whether it was manufactured by W-W, IMI or somebody in Uganda.
