Ok so I got the rifle sighted in.....for the most part.
The owner told me he already had a 25yd zero so I was hoping to just come down a little bit......He was WAY off! The shortest distance on the rifle range was 50ryd, I had placed an 8" shoot-n-c target and had a friend on a scope looking for hits. I had to go 8-10" down and 8" right to hit the top of the outer ring on the 8"! After walking it in I had a dead center hit at 50yd which put me 1.5-2" high at 100yds, I was able to take two shots at 100yds before I ran out of ammo....Well, good enough for Gov't work!

bcarver, that is a great method but I didnt consider it thinking he already had a 25yd zero. When I realized how off he was I didnt bring anything to secure the upper for this method. I still got it done but would have felt much better with a few more rounds for consistancy.
