If you are going to use 777, try the loose powder. I started with pellets, don't use em anymore. Accuracy, ignition and clean up are all much better with the loose than with the pellets. 777 is all I've ever really used, so I'm only speaking to that brand of powder. I have come across a LGS that has 209 for $35 a pound. Going to be trying that this fall. Powder choices are limited here, and some companies refuse to ship even round balls to Mass, never mind powder. So I've been limited in my experience.
