I don't recall just where it was I got the .38 special load data. I use 4.0 grains of powder, Winchester SP, and Montana Gold 158 grain JHP bullets. It give a nice load that is soft in recoil, clean burning and accurate too. Going to 4.4 grains the groups were spreading out. I use a Dan Wesson 4" VH pistol with this load. I use AA7 for .357 Mag. and same bullet. I might try some AA9 one day. It is on the shelf when I get around to it.

There is some old data about using WST in 9 mm. WST is the old 452AA powder. Start @ 4.3gr & work up to 5gr as max, depending of course on your OAL. This is for 124 grain FMJ bullets.

If you have some old books try looking up data for 452AA. As with any new load work up slowly.

For .45 I use 5.2 to 5.3 grains of WST with a Montana Gold 185 grain JHP bullet. I have used an OAL of 1.200 to 1.220 with this load.
