The pet shop corn cobb is just too darn big! Been there-done that-got the "T" shirt! I saved that batch of corn cobb for the big caliber cases, 40 S&W was the smallest that would empty easily.
Grainger sells corn cobb in finer grits as blasting media. IIRC it's the 40 grit that will work for deprimed cases WITHOUT the media getting stuck in the primer flash holes.
