Fired 50 jacketed bullet/smokeless powder 30-06 loads yesterday but it wasn't the same.

Shoulder's a little sore, rifle shot well but it just wasn't right somehow.

There's something about black powder and scrounged lead.

All kidding aside I may have found the mainspring but I also spent a bit of time on the Shiloh site, figured maybe I need a better rifle. Could easily spend more on sights than I have in my "starter" BPCR.
