I have a new Marlin XL7 in .25-06. I have never owned a gun in this caliber before. I realize that each gun has it's own quirks, but in terms of effectiveness on deer, which type of ammo do you guys prefer? Core-lokt, speer, nosler, etc...? I will try several to see what shoots the best, so this isn't so much about accuracy as it is about which ammo opens up the best for a clean kill.
