Savage or R700...
If you want the ability to upgrade stocks, barrels, etc.
Savage gets the nod from me, mostly because I can change barrels/calibers myself in minutes. So, I usually just "build" my own...find a cheap rifle, use just the action and get rid of the rest.
If you're just looking for an accurate rifle and not concerned about upgrading, etc. then look at the Ruger American for under $350.
