I'm interested in replacing the recoil-spring in my full-size HK USP, but I'm a little uncertain how to go about it, since the (captive) spring seems to be held in place by a C-Clip. Does anyone know the procedure for replacing the recoil-spring without having to deal with the tools needed to remove the c-clip; or do I just have to replace the entire assembly?
