Looking to purchase a new shotgun myself for waterfowl and turkey thought it was time to retire my Browning A-5 Lt.

My father-in-law purchased it around 1955 and gave it to me in 1972 still works fine but doesn't put enough steel shot down range.

It was down to three guns, Browning Gold, Citori or the Benelli Super Black Eagle. I made my mind up today after looking at all three again. It will be the Benelli. I've talked to a lot hunters (waterfowl) they swear by the Super Black Eagle.

I've read a post here on the line that some people have had or seen problems with the Benelli's but I've talked with two dealers that move 1000's of guns a year and they both stated there isn't one brand (higher grade) over another that has more break downs.

One thing I can say the Black Eagle really has a smooth action.

I can get the Super Black Eagle for $999.00 if it lasts as long as my A-5 that's only $35.00 a year.

Have a good day.
