Any information or opinions out there on this revolver regarding it's reputation, specifications, collectability (should I shoot it like I would like to, or is it too valuable and should be kept in the box?), and current value.
Since purchasing it at a recent gunshow, my research has indicated that it was 1 of 1000 made by Colt's Custom shop in 1987 for distribution by Lew Horton. It seems to be a shortened (2.5") version of the King Cobra, with wood grips added.
