I have two of the SafariLand 6378 holsters. I use the belt mount instead of the paddle, but it comes with both so you can choose which you like better. The holster has a thumb operated locking mechanism and a lining to protect your gun. I got them on Amazon for a decent price and may buy more in the future.

These are great holsters, rugged and secure, and very, very fast. I've used one for casual duty work and IDPA and have been very pleased with it. I just wish they made a Commander length model for 1911s, luckily they're inexpensive enough for me to experiment with shortening one to fit.
It does leave light rub marks on the top of the slide behind the ejection port.
