Agreed!!! Less is more. The only reason I got my encore in .308 was that I got a great deal on the barrel and the custom brake on it. otherwise I would have gone with a .243.
It tain't fer the faint o' heart.....Do not get wood grips on a rifle caliber encore, wear plugs and muffs at the same time and get a good shooting glove.
