No doubt that is not the "highest quality" of .22lr mouse-guns but I have found that even the "clunkers" will run (until they break) with HV Aquila or Stinger ammo.
In fact it's not just the "cheapies," I have a SIG 1911-22 that won't run reliably absent HV ammo as well as a Beretta 21A etc...
