Nope. It won't do it. Not even on 4.5x.
I think it has more to do with the parallax adjustment. I don't pay attention to the range markings on the dial.
I focus on the target from blurry to clear to blurry again and then somewhere in the middle.
I focus on the center red dot of the targets I am using and at 25 yards, I can get close to being in focus but am not there. You cannot go from far away to being in focus and then moving far enough to be out of focus near. You can only get "close" . . .and that isn't good enough.
The scope is fine for shooting 50 yards and farther but does not work at closer distances.
