My oldest DW from '76 when new I take it apart to clean well and at that time I radiused all the edges of the parts in the trigger group and 1000gr wet papae using oil polished the sides only. Cut up a couple oem hammer springs try'n to find a lighter reliable trigger pull. When wolff had springs for it I changed only the hammer spring, lubed with breakfree clp. 2lb SA and 5lb DA pull. Maybe many years of shooting has smoothed it up a bit more but don't think a smithy can make them much better and still be reliable.
