Keep the Mk23
I was reading an article on a custom 1911, all the usual raves etc, ran about $3200. The average group was 3.5 inches at 25 yds!
1911s are a dime a dozen. The triggers tend to be good vs a poly and other than that the DA/SAs are better in all regards (including accuracy out of the box vs customs).
It may be a "boat anchor" but at least its an accurate one.
