I've never seen that show, but I had to look it up.

Seems the gun you were talking about was a dressed up Taurus 85 with a brass casting around it and a longer barrel- to shoot blanks.

I liked the 1897 Winchester with the scope on it.
The feller that was in charge of type casting the guns was my kind of guy.
