guess i forgot to mention i also prefer vertical. 6.5" isn't exactly horizontal-friendly, haha. but thanks for the input! and yes, spring clip retention is what i was talking about.
i tried on a uncle mikes cordura rig at Bass the other day. i wasn't particularly impressed with the fitment. even after much adjusting. they didn't have much selection of any leather there, let alone shoulder rigs.
so far, in my meanderings across the net, the bianchi x-15 seems to be the best, if not only, choice. does it tie down on the other side, giving you the option to mount speed loader pouches?
anyone know of any uniform shops with decent selections in (dare i say it
) southern cali??
