Good choice! I have used 2 (my dad's) to take a variety of game. The .30-06 is around a 1.25" shooter with mass-production reloads (read not weighing and measuring each one), and the 6mm is minute of prairie dog out to an unknown long distance, as I've never shot that one at the range.
