You take a lead fishing sinker that is a little bigger than the bore size. They are pure lead. just carefully hammer them down the bore(oil the bore up good first)with a dowel or aluminum rod. A harder bullet won't work ,especially if they are small to begin with.

Or what I did.

I made some molds that I drilled holes .006-.010 over each caliber I shoot. with 2 plates bolted together, I drilled the holes on the parting line between the two. pore molten pure lead in the holes, after they cool, unbolt the plates, I have some slugs.
