3. It is the very pistol of Sgt. Alvin York, WW1.

4. It has been proven by many American GI's, in many places, separate from major wars.

5. It is NOT a piece of antiquity, as some judge, because it is a single-stack magazine, but has been a workhorse.

6. It is the auto-pistol, that the USMC has chosen to return to, after years of using an Italian-designed Beretta, this year.
