I've got an old 1903 Springfield and I'd like to shoot it but don't wish to push the old gun to it's limits. It was made in 1930 so it has a good receiver. I'm more worried about cracking the wood. I'll only be shooting at 100 yards on a paper target so as long as the bullet drop is not too bad I'll be fine.
Any ideas for a nice low powered load?
