Years ago I loaded Red Dot for 9mm and .38 Special.

It had two characteristics...

1. Gave excellent accuracy in the 9, astounding accuracy in the .38.

2. It was, without a doubt, the filthiest powder I have ever used.

I went back to 231 for my handgun rounds and saved the Red Dot for my 12 gauge loads.
