But someone is NOT after his dad. They have only fear and speculation. If the law can be broken every time there is fear or speculation of danger then we live in anarchy.
Regardless, the OP appears to have answered his own question. It is perfectly legal for a permit holder to borrow a gun in his state. End of story.
