well ive always like the longer barrel length design on the AR types. i was thinking the 18" or 20" would be for the best. as i am typically a 100-300yard shooter i usually spec my rifles to be in that range. the longer barrel would help with accurcay at that range.
im glad you posted those brand names, as im new to ar's im unsure whats top line vs bottom of the barrel parts. i usually go over the top and get quality forged parts for the reliability stand point
