So many people I have had to tell in the last year "It doesn't mater if you paid X amount of dollars for it when you bought it. It's only worth x amount now."
One of them is a good friend of mine who paid nearly $2000 for a Sig P556 and now wants to sell it. I keep telling him that is asking price is more than I can buy a new one for.
