If you are looking to spend around $150 for a .22 rifle I would highly recommend the Marlin 795, you can buy it new for $150:

This is a great rifle, I own one and it is very accurate and fun to shoot.

I also own a Savage mk II as well and it is a great rifle too. The trigger is much better than on the Marlin.
