I'll put in a word for WW II stuff basically because it has historical interest. MP38/40s are pretty salty, but M3s and M3A1s are still affordable. Think about the STEN. It is is the quinesssential sub gun, plenty of parts and mags are still available and ammo is 9mmP. If you can get an amnesty registered gun (not a rebuild) it will have historical value also.
