Magnum Force and L.A. Confidential are at the top of my list. One of my personal favorites though is the Jesse Stone movie where he is wounded in the right arm and forsakes his 1911 for a revolver. The revolver he takes out of his nightstand is a Colt Detective "Fitz Special" with ivory grips. It's the same gun he carries in Blue Bloods. I believe the Colt is from his own personal collection. I don't have any desire to carry one but they are neat to look at. Fred Dryer of Hunter was mentioned as carrying a semi. He did later in the series but he started with a short barrel magnum revolver.
