(For newcomers: Fast & Furious started in 2009 after Obama was in office. The Bush era program "Wide Receiver" (2006-2007) was much smaller and discontinued when guns couldn't be tracked south of the border. But this operation included the Mexican authorities, unlike F&F in which the Mexican gov't was kept in the dark.)
