I am new to reloading and would appreciate some help selecting a good powder for 223 and 30-06. I was thinking of using the reclaimed military powder because it is cheap. With my limited knowledge, it appears that WC-844 is a good choice for 223 and IMR 4895 is a good choice for 30-06.

I took an educated guess that WC-844 is better than WC-846 for 223.

The reloads will be used for high power service rifle competition, 200, 300, 600yd.
