Those things can get insanely light, not a whole lot there.
Numbers are high enough so that it's possible to find them for around 1k dollars still, but that is likely to be a used rifle.
If you are looking for a truely new manufacture rifle, probably something like AR10 recommended with a Bushmaster pencil thin barrel(SP1 copy basically) and a fixed position telescoping stock is likely to be pretty darned light.
