Great rifles. Best sights ever on a military rifle.
Without a doubt.

I was shooting my 1944 Springfield Armory (a CMP Service Grade rifle) this weekend in anticipation of taking it deer hunting later this month (I have a ported gas plug installed). It is amazingly accurate with irons. I was able to put up relatively consistent 1.5 MOA groupings at 100 yards from an improvised rest using both 150-grain Remington Core-Lokt and 40-year-old Greek surplus HXP M2 Ball. Just outstanding considering I'm far from a good shot with irons and my Garand has no accuracy modifications.
