I can usually find CCI .22 shorts at the local Walmart for about $13/100. During the panic it was about the only kind of .22 they had in stock.

I find that not that many people around here shoot them, most everyone would rather have .22 LR. I don't mind the shorts because they do fine out of my Henry.
