Was talking with my dad and couldn't remember the name of a movie with Don Johnson and ? (Ben Johnson). They were between the Wars cavalrymen. They were ordered to round up the last remuda that the cavalry owned so that they could be destroyed. The troopers refused to carry out the order and instead headed for Canada with the herd. Had several other stock actors also. At the end an artilleryman overshot on purpose to help save the herd instead of firing on it.
Anyone remember the name?
