OK to your questions

Most anti states want the mods to be permanent . Here is where you run in to trouble . What does your state consider permanent . That is what you need to find out .

A buddy of mine always says when I ask stuff like this . Do you want to be the guy in court defending how you built your rifle . The state has hundreds of lawyers and an unlimited budget . What do you have ? These are the types of thing you don't want to mess with . Is it worth losing your right to buy any more guns EVER because your name goes on some list . call and or write your atty.gen they will have the answer . I'm sure there is something online that states what is excepted . Make sure it's an official state website .
