I wish Baikal would make a drilling; even poorly regulated, they could make something functional for ~ 1/50th the cost of a gun with an Italian/German name. It's funny you mentioned it being light and hard kicking; I'd always been under the impression their guns were on the heavy side and a bit "robust" in their construction (most reviews are of their shotguns though, so
that may be the cause for the weight criticism). I believe they made an O/U 12ga/30-06 for Remington at one point.
All I know is I like my MP161K, and wish to give those guys some more of my money in the future
