Never say never....look at the photos that Jim March just posted about the OMBH that set off 5 rounds in a wreck..
It would take something extreme, but there is always the chance. Would I worry about it? No. Would I worry more if it was rimfire? Yes, but just because of the contact area involved. Not saying it would be more likely with a rimfire, but it does make sense that it would be.
