Looking for .44 Magnum Predictions.

I'm about to drop 8.0 grains of Universal into a .44 Remington Magnum case and top it off with a taper crimp 240 grain cast SWC. Win LP primer, C.O.L. 1.620". Hodgdon Manual #27. Pg.123. A batch of 100 should do it.

Do I hear any Performance predictions?

I don't have a chronograph. I'll use 20 year old gun show special bullets. It has been almost as many years since I've loaded .44 mag and I have plenty of Universal. In the Hodgdon Manual you can see how much more efficient H110 & W296 are vs. the faster powders. But since I don't want all that velocity I'm going to try something a little different.

I think I'll get ~1000fps & accurracy should be good. I can't reproduce any of the bullets so this batch is to mainly try p.s.i. & buring charataristics & subjective handling.
