I think there is other factors to consider.

Isn't your time, equipment, energy worth something? Maybe more stuff like energy including food, sleep, the lawn, house cleaning. You must have a very patient wife, or you live like a hermit. LOL

TBS, a former mechanic (USA cars, Jap bikes, marine (OMC MERCs, no airplanes), I now pay somebody to change my oil, brake pads (no turning rotors, never, almost) coolant, tranny fluid's etc. I'm not convinced yet. I do shoot a lot of 22lr though.
