I recently purchased my first AR and I love it but i'm not much of a fan of the front sight. I've asked several of the local gun shops about removing it and replacing it with a low profile gas block and none of them want to take on the job. Is this something that a person with no gunsmithing background like myself can tackle and if so how would I take part in doing so?
