My point of view is that I don't care if the baby sitter carries a gun or not, as long as she is responsible. I won't be paying extra for this service. I also wouldn't employ someone who wants to pretend to be an armed guard by thinking they need to use their gun to protect my kids. I'd rather the baby sitter focus their attention on playing cards, monopoly, or something else fun during her stay.
