The load with only a small rifle primer actually performed better (more velocity) than the very reduced power smokeless loads that we were working on to start with. They will penetrate a couple pieces of cardboard, but can be picked up and loaded again with minimal deformation. Very fun to shoot, but still packing enough energy to do a little damage.
