I'd ask Gray or his customer service staff directly.
Id think Gray or any reputable pistol-smith would offer a service guarantee or warranty.
I can't speak for him or any other shop. I can see their point(s) if they don't.
A gunsmith or after-market part vendor can't be expected to know how or what a customer is going to do with the firearm.
If a service plan or long term conditions are a issue for you, the regular SIG Sauer custom shop might be best.
