There were two "G" series; if your gun has the takedown latch (looks like the safety on a M1911A1) it was probably made between 1941 and 1944. If it doesn't, it is the second G series and would likely date to late 1944-1945. AFAIK, all those production records were destroyed in the war, so anything is a guess. It is not even certain when Radom production was transferred to Steyr, though the later guns definitely were made in Austria, not Poland.

It does seem likely, though, that Radom production was transferred to Steyr in late 1941, far earlier than most sources say, and long before the Russians came close to Poland.
