Yeah, I figured it would wear pretty fast.
That's why I buffed the rest of the park out years ago.
I was just wondering if there's a parkerizing that might be more durable, or if I repeated the process and built up the finish, if that would help. I dunno.
The barrel on my Sig 1911-22 is black and it's holding up pretty good.
Looks to be some sort of duracoat.
Not sure that would hold up on my .45 though.
Also, what about parkerizing parts that are blued?
Would I need to remove all the blueing, or can I just degrease it?
