Yeah, I went to Canada three times in the last three months and talked with a local firearms enthusiast. The guy who posted above with the informative post is correct.

You could only take an approved firearm, but you are really pressing yourself for time and I doubt highly you will be able to do it in time.

My advice would be to borrow a firearm from her parents when you get there while you are in the woods.

Canada is another country, not the 51st state.
