for 250 or less you can get a kel tec p11 a 1o round doublestack that feels like a single i wouldnt want to pay 400+ for any of the others kahrs and kimbers are expensive and the nano is possible the ugliest gun ive ever seen the p11 is a true dao with no safties and a trigger that is exactly what you would want long and smooth and i cant get mine to jam no matter how hard i try and if you dont like it you are only out 250 and they are soooooo light
