I've used a lot of Blue Dot in magnum revolver calibers, and in both the .45acp and Colt, usually with good results. Then I tried it in the .357SIG, and what was supposedly a median load was way too hot compared to factory, and also based on primer condition.

Same case as the .40, so maybe the decreased volume is a factor.
